Connect to Potto with Google to enable its features.
Potto is a simple application to track monthly expenses against a given budget. Expenses are tracked per calender month. You can set a monthly budget that stays active until changed. Historic budgets (and expense data) are also kept. Changing a budget now does not change any past budgets.
Expenses are divided into groups. From the dashboard, click on the block with the + sign to add a new group. From the side menu click on the group to edit it the name and its icon. Select an icon by name from the Google Material Design website material.io. When you do no longer use the group, untick its 'Active' box. Your data will not be lost, it will merely be removed from the dashboard. You can re-activate when needed
To add a new budget to a group, click on the + in the circle in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Budgets have a start period (and no end). It will remain active as a budget until a different budget with a later start period is available.
The results page holds the summaries for the last 12 months, per month.
